1. In the
cold of winter
when the icicles are formed,
and
the wind is blowing harshly
you might feel forlorn.
If the snow is piled high
and temperatures are low,
you
could lose INCENTIVE
for the places you should go.
2. There
may not be many ways
you think can boost your MOOD.
And so
you might be tempted
to just sit around and brood.
Here
is a solution
that is simple and quite fun
taking
little time,
while you need not be on the run.
3. Look
forward to the springtime
which can change your skies to blue.
See
fluffy clouds all vanish
and the sun come shining through!
IMAGE pastel
colored kites
as they float in the sky,
sailing
over lovely rooftops
toward the clouds on high.
4. Think
of homes all painted
like delightful Easter eggs,
and white
picketed fences
around charming flower beds.
Mailboxes
bring warm thoughts
of letters people send,
or
welcomed cards and packages
delivered from a FRIEND.
5. Birdhouses
in backyards
under lovely apple trees
are
wholesome thoughts that help
to put our minds and hearts at ease.
Smoke
rising from chimneys
is a sight that always brings
thoughts
of crackling fires,
home cooked meals, and PLEASANT things.
Try
hard to remember
my advice when you feel low.
Look
forward to the springtime
and your heart will overflow!
