When Summer Days Grow Colder

1. When summer days grow cooler as the autumn days draw near, anticipation may be mixed with just a hint of fear, and disappointment warmer weather cannot not last all year. Wanting lovely flowers to keep blooming endlessly, while dreading to find ice and snow upon the lakes and sea, for autumn weather to withdraw we silently might plea. I am here to help you find the glories of the fall, and recognize the essence of its mesmerizing call, but to appreciate its healing BEAUTY most of all.

2. When leaves turn red bright orange and yellow in the morning sun, reflect upon their beauty before being on the run, then later spend some time outdoors having a little FUN. A small weekend vacation might be just the perfect touch, and a chance to visit somewhere you have loved so much. Or at a quaint outdoor café invite a friend for lunch. 

3. Drive along a country road when you are all alone, away from traffic television and the telephone, as you enjoy the charming coziness of every home. Notice children playing while the cheerful colored leaves, appear to skip and dance upon a cool refreshing breeze, landing softly on the ground with such delicate ease. Use your imagination now continuing your drive, to image all your very favorite HOMEY scenes inside, where wholesome country families and their gentle folk abide. 

4. Smell hot apple pie and homemade bread just freshly baked, image cookies pasties tarts and luscious frosted cake, along with eggs and sizzling bacon right when you awake. Think of COZY evenings all curled up before a fire, resting after chores until you finally retire, enjoying pleasant thoughts that with each new day may transpire. 

5. Cherish every wholesome wonderful and HEALING thought, for they will bring you true contentment which cannot be bought, along with the fruition of the dreams which you have sought. Appreciate the joys of autumn all throughout your life, which will enrich the season and help minimize your strife. Then carry this through wintertime to make it extra bright. When lovely autumn days arrive be sure right from the start, that you allow the vivid colored leaves to warm your heart, while recognizing how they truly are a work of art!

The Country Mouse’s Peaceful Drive

1. In her small convertible the little country mouse, slowly backed out of the driveway of her cozy house. The sun was warm. The air was crisp. It was a perfect day, as she began her lovely drive in the most pleasant way. Since it was SPRING all of the blossoms on the flowering trees, appeared very enchanting in the quiet gentle breeze. Their petals silently and gracefully all floated down, leaving little cheerful paths of color on the ground.

2. The COUNTRY road was peaceful with its gently rolling hills, a beautiful example of the country’s subtle thrills. Little chipmunks squirrels and rabbits butterflies and deer, at the sight of fallen florets happily drew near. As the little mouse drove further past a tranquil lake she saw three swans swim happily within a sailboat’s wake.

3. Suddenly a sunbeam shown much brighter on her face, causing her to carefully though slightly slow her pace. This enabled her to see a charming antique SHOP, that ever so entrancingly persuaded her to stop. In a century home so picturesque in every way, it was a place where anyone would simply love to stay. The porch had a few steps and railings with a lovely view, where quaint white wicker furniture looked comfy through and through.

4. Entering the house window displays were just divine. And so the little mouse enjoyed her fun leisurely time. Antique plates coffee carafes and tall thin champagne flutes, gave one who wished to plan a PARTY the perfect excuse! Tablecloths and placemats some with flowers and others lace, were sure to transform any room into a stylish place!

5. With a smile she chose some lovely items for her home, that were certain to create for guests the perfect tone. White tapered candles etched with silver sparkling filigree, could light a room with elegance to such a high degree. Enticing china teacups with their rose hand painted flowers, would delight her guests for undisturbed relaxing hours. With a few more items in her bag on the way out, she knew her friends would be just overjoyed 

beyond a doubt. Hopping back into her car the little country mouse, thoroughly enjoyed the DRIVE back to her cozy house!

Call Upon Your Loved Ones

1. Do you have a loved one, who is far away from home, or traveled to a foreign land and left you all ALONE? Was there someone close to you for whom you had great love, who now may be deceased since God took them to heaven above? If emptiness creates in you a void no one can fill, and you are at the point where you are questioning God’s will, your friends  may then invite you for a visit or to dine, but you feel sad and lonely so most often you decline.

2. You tell yourself you should have overcome your FEAR and have the courage just to talk with friends although you feel sad. You justify what you have done by saying the next day, “I should be feeling better soon and things might go my way.” It’s hard for us to know for sure the proper things to do. In some of the most trying times, we’re left without a clue.

3. We really should not fault ourselves when life becomes unclear. There really is an antidote each day for all our fear fear. Besides just having faith that God is standing by our side to comfort, love, and strengthen us and be our faithful guide, I’ve found a little SECRET when the blue sky turns to gray. It’s added so much sunshine and has brightened each new day. Every morning when I wake and fervent prayers I say, I ask my loved ones who have died to send a sign my way.

4. It might just be a loving smile or twinkle in one’s eye. It may be in a cherished pet or loving child’s sigh. I hear songs that remind me of the things they used to say. These MEMORIES are uplifting in the most delightful way. I might hear their names mentioned by a person passing by, Or see their favorite flower, or a bird up in the sky. I also see their smiles in faces loving and so kind. In the gentle breezes too their warm embrace I find. They send me all their secrets through both nature and in love, to show me they are with me and are safe in heaven above.

5. I cannot feel sad or lonely when they are with me, for deep within their eyes a glorious heaven I can see. So now you know my secret that has set my heart in bloom. Just call upon your loved ones and God’s love will fill the room. As you see their smile and feel their love and warm embrace, They will be your guide until you’re standing face to face. So call upon your loved ones in a very special way, And then enjoy the SIGNS they send to brighten up your day!  

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4

Breakfast with the Holy Family

1. At my cozy kitchen table with its seats of four, I breakfast with the Holy Family and their grace implore. Through the eyes within my soul I see them clear as day, and know that they will always lead me safely come what may. Worries quickly vanish as they each lovingly smile, desiring that I rest with them in PEACE for just awhile.

2. I am filled with all the grace I need to live each day, in joyful humble service with my loved ones come what may. Jesus Mary and Joseph give the promise that their LOVE will warm my heart and lift it like a gently soaring dove. Inspiring me to keep my life as simple as can be, I feel their assurance it will keep my spirit free.

3. In the quiet morning when most others are asleep, Jesus Mary and Joseph share their strength so strong and deep. After the sun peeks from the horizon far away, sunshine in my heart  accompanies me through the day. The Holy Family’s happiness and presence fills the air, with greatest HOPE and faith they will be with me everywhere.

4. I can see them smiling still through the entire day, even when the sun descends and daytime fades away. In the morning at the break of dawn when I arise, I know that peace awaits me  when I gaze into their eyes. If SERENITY is what you search for in your life, this can help you find it and will minimize your strife.

5. Quietly within your mind at breakfast visualize, The Holy Family with you as you gaze into their eyes. Sensing a fulfillment and a JOY beyond your dreams, they will lift your soul to heights where sunshine meets moonbeams. Find a cozy spot for breakfast at the break of dawn, and rest within their love until your doubts and fears are gone!

Worrying Drains All Your Energy

1. Worrying drains all your energy, whether you are young or old, so why let your problems upset you, or the worrisome things you've been told? The world and the people around you, just might fill you with tension and fear, but you can conserve all your energy, by proclaiming that God's LOVE is near.

2. The more time you waste in resistance, all the longer you delay His grace. So realize that He is waiting for you, with a smile and His loving EMBRACE.

3.The moment that you recognize Him, negativity will then disappear, leaving you with great CONTENTMENT and rejoicing in place of your fear.

4. In thanksgiving for all of the energy, you were saved by God's nurturing care, you will feel such ANTICIPATION, that His presence will always be there.

5. Be determined to stop apprehension, which will drain all your vigor my friend, and I know you will be very grateful, that this LESSON you learned in the end!

It's Better To Light a Candle!

1. It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness friend, for basking in its gentle rays will bring fears to an end. Why allow frustration to embrace you day by day, when you can feel the warmth of HEAVEN in a wondrous way. 

2. There’s much that you can do to make this world a better place, by trying to bring happiness to those of every race. No matter what the color of our skin we possess LOVE, which is the most important thing that we were all made of. 

3. Don’t get angry at your neighbor when they cause you pain, but try to UNDERSTAND their suffering time and time again. Life is much too short to waste it evening the score. Choose someone who is in need and knock upon their door. Bring your smile with you using it to bring some cheer, whether it is for a stranger or those you hold dear. 

4. Do not shy away from being vulnerable at times, for this is truly what will lift you up to the SUBLIME! Light a candle friend when you are threatened or dismayed. You will be amazed how triviality will fade! 

5. Sit in quiet solitude before its peaceful flame, as it helps you to FORGIVE all those that you might blame. Then released from all confusion vow that you will give, yourself with love that burns for all as long as you might live!
