Mama Bear Visits the Country Store

1. The SUN shone through the parlor window very clear and bright, as Mama browsed the newspaper after a restful night. It was a nice warm Saturday as Mama sat and read, while Papa and the cubs were all still tucked away in bed. The weather forecast was a picture perfect summer day, and Mama planned to spend it in the most delightful way. 

2. Papa had just cleaned the car the very day before, so Mama could enjoy her DRIVE down to The Country Store. Adhering to her weekly schedule she routinely went, to shop for needed items which was money quite well spent. Buying household items or the children’s school supplies, was so rewarding when she saw it light the children’s eyes! 

3. She dressed picked up her purse and shawl and hopped into the car, then backed out with the top down as she felt a gentle stir. Turning down the country road enjoying the fresh air, it felt rejuvenating as it gently blew her hair. The road was graced on both sides with small hills of grassy green, while large pink blossomed trees all helped adorn the lovely scene. With roadside FLOWERS blooming petaled faces seemed to smile, in a wide array of colors mile after mile. 

4. After a pleasant journey she began to catch a glimpse, of the quaint and cozy VILLAGE at a fair distance. Suddenly she realized that she was finally there, passing all the homey shops within the village square. Her favorite was The Country Store which suited all her needs, Like household, clothing, school supplies and even gardening. 

5. She spent a lovely afternoon just browsing through each shop, and for a hot fudge SUNDAE even made a pleasant stop. As she drove home leisurely she felt glad and content, thinking how delightfully the afternoon was spent. But the most rewarding moment she was waiting for, was when she’d be walking through her very own front door! 

You Are Not Responsible

1. You are not responsible for others’ HAPPINESS, even when  you know of ways that could relieve their stress. At certain times when loved ones tend to show us their dismay, we might feel responsible to help them find their way.

2. With only so much we can do to help them see the LIGHT, it can be futile when we spend each moment day and night, giving our advice to others feeling that their fate, depends upon decisions that may carry little weight.

3. It seems at times when we are blessed with more insight and care, we feel obligated that our knowledge we must share. Up to a point it's fine but when our patience seems to end, in FAITH we must release our loved ones to the Lord my friend.

4. God gives every person all the GRACE they need to be, enlightened by His holy will to reach eternity. He guides them to the path that they should travel up ahead, with certain realization He'll be with them as they tread.

5. So please remember if advising someone seems to be, the proper thing to do decide a limit of degree. Then trust all the remainder to the Lord above and He, will bring success from failure. It’s His loving GUARANTEE!

The Weight of the World

1. Are you carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Our God bids you to lay it down. By His sufferings He’s FREED you from worry and death and awaits with a heavenly crown. So take the world off of your shoulders my friend and along with it your every care. There is already someone who’s promised to carry your crosses and your sorrows share.

2. Why do we worry allowing such negative thoughts to discard happiness, when we have a Heavenly Father who’s promised to 

COMFORT and guide us through stress.

3. His love LIGHTS the universe causing all life forms to thrive and exist on their own. With one tiny cell we were born to this earth and miraculously survived and have grown. Reflecting on God‘s masterpiece of creation and His wondrous ingenious plan, it is perfectly normal to reflect on and question His motivation in creating man.

4. These thoughts should instill in our hearts and our souls an extreme sense of reverence and awe. With undying GRATITUDE we should respect and obey our Divine Master’s law.

5. However when carrying the world on our shoulders we all should regard it as loss, for Jesus has carried it here upon earth in the form of His most sacred cross. He came as a child wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger from heaven above. 

So take the world off of your shoulders my friend and caress now your CHILD God with love!

How Beautiful, God’s Snow and Rain, His Clouds and Winds That Blow!

1. When young the weather changes often could affect my mood. If raindrops fell from dreary skies I'd sometimes stop and brood. Unless the day was sunny my spirits would be low, and I could not enjoy my chores or places I should go. There were many days that simply were not bright with cheer. I wished that winter days would pass and SUMMER would draw near. But when I noticed that my life was quickly passing by, I thought of an approach to life I felt that I should try. 

2. I wanted to enjoy each moment God gave me to live, so in return these joys to others I might freely give. From that very moment on I vowed to praise God so, for all the wondrous snow and rain His clouds and winds that blow! If you would like to join me for a lovely peaceful stroll, just close your eyes and rest your mind and view this in your soul. I’m walking down a lovely path with tall majestic trees, their branches colored lavishly with gorgeous AUTUMN leaves. 

3. While upon the gentle breeze some softly flutter down, my heart is filled with wonder at the beauty all around. Within a twinkling moment fluffy clouds begin to show. Then RAINDROPS fall like diamonds as the winds begin to blow. The path now wet with shiny sparkles as the clouds depart, creates such warm and cozy feelings deep within my heart. I think of  how inviting home will be with warmth and light, its glowing  candles burning and stars twinkling in the night. 

4. Suddenly I see that in the sky there shines a beam, that floods the sky with brightness leaving all the earth serene. A lovely pink glow brings delightful flowers into view, of every SPRINGTIME color each a radiant cheerful hue. When I stop to smile at them their happy faces glow. As they allow their essence and intelligence to show. Right after this encounter I can feel upon my face, some cool and moist soft snowflakes as I stroll at leisurely pace. They look like angel feathers falling softly in my view, kaleidoscopes of crystal sparkling bright with morning dew. 

5. Filled with happy feelings I anticipate tonight, a warm and cozy evening I will have by fire light. My charming cottage with its curtained windows bids me tread, ever gently to is its flower strewn gate just up ahead. Entering my house its warmth just permeates my soul. How wonderful returning HOME after a lovely stroll. I’ll have the most contented night before I then retire, reading sipping cocoa in my chair beside the fire!

When Autumn Leaves Begin to Fall

1. In the autumn when the leaves begin to fall from sheltering trees, we are sprinkled with such CHEER because a brand new  season’s here. 

2. Bidding summer days goodbye, we blow a kiss and watch them fly. Cooling days and cozy nights bring COLORFUL and pleasant sights. 

3. Apple CIDER, popcorn balls and watching every leaf that falls, all add a delightful touch to autumn days we love so much. 

4. WALKS on lovely autumn days and fire’s glow with warming rays, light a spark of deep desire ignited by love’s heavenly fire. 

5. Endless opportunities with parties and FESTIVITIES, brighten even cloudy days and shed in us their sunny rays. Marvel while the seasons change and how the world they rearrange. Then enjoy the warmth and cheer when lovely autumn days are here!

Transforming Years

1. When I was young I used to fear and worry about things, like growing old or illness and the sorrow that life brings. I was so afraid my youth and health would fly away, and be replaced by insecurity and ills one day. I did not anticipate my attitude would CHANGE, or that my thoughts would suddenly contently rearrange.

2. No longer as concerned about the things I liked before, I saw new channels and insights beyond an opened door. Things seemed more exciting and inviting once again. a newfound MYSTERY in life became a heartfelt friend. Things I once found so significant now quickly fled, and with a taste for fresher interests I was richly fed. Life seemed much too short to waste on worry and regret. Now I do not feel a need to reach life’s summit yet.

3. Little things impress me more as I grow older still. I desire the simplest pleasures that my heart will fill. Also I enjoy ANTICIPATING each new day, all the wonders and surprises life will send my way. My interests may have changed but I am happy as can be, for I have learned to not resist life’s gently flowing sea.

4. Now that in the autumn of my life I feel secure, I sense a tranquil comfort and I know one thing for sure. Life was meant for happiness enjoyment love and peace, the qualities we should pursue until our lives will cease. The answer to our fears is to    have trust when youth may flee. Realize a new HORIZON in its place will be. With fresh new hope you may proceed to live out all your days, in many new exciting wonderful fulfilling ways.

5. Every season in your life is meant to bring you joy. Each has  special gifts and talents for you to employ. Cherish every day at  morning and never forget, to live as if it were your last until the sun has set. In this way you’ll find your life as RICH as it can be, each day a steppingstone leading you to eternity!
