The Saints of God Surround Us!

1. Whenever I feel insecure I bid the saints of God, to lovingly draw near as with their presence I am awed. With Jesus they surround us since they rarely leave His side. I feel their strong PROTECTION while so closely they abide. I call upon my Savior’s very dearest friends and pray, “Please guide me all along life’s challenging intriguing way.”

2. With Jesus’ Mother Mary and with Joseph her dear spouse, The Holy Family’s presence ever warmly fills my house. I then petition good St. Anne to hold me in her care, as once she held her Virgin Daughter Mary every fair. St. Anne’s devoted husband Joachim guarded them with love, so I too ask ASSISTANCE and his help from up above.

3. St. John the Baptist Jesus’ cousin preached God's word since birth, continuing to bring His INSPIRATION upon earth. John’s parents Zechariah and Elizabeth by name, were chosen for their holiness God’s glory to proclaim. St. Mary Magdalen exemplifies how we should leave, a life of sin to follow Jesus and His grace receive. St. John Vianney patron of the church that I belong, reminds us by his holy life we should choose right from wrong.

4. The list goes on and on you'll find of Jesus’ faithful friends, and we are blest to have their help until our journey ends. They fill our lives with friendship love and joyful wonder too, while they delight in helping us in everything we do. So if you’re ever lonely insecure anxious or blue, remember Jesus with His friends will always COMFORT you.

5. From place to place they follow Him reflecting in His glow, and now they will abide with you wherever you may go. So open up your eyes and see them in their heavenly light, protecting you from danger as they help to ward off strife. You never will feel lonely in the face of doubt or fear, for you will be UPLIFTED as the saints of God draw near!

Demands

1. Demands can overwhelm you that you try so hard to meet. When you feel you've failed you may experience DEFEAT. If life becomes a race against the time you value most, you might begin to feel more like a guest than your life's host.

2. If in the past you felt you had the whole world on a string, now you may experience that in its control you fling. Facing this dilemma and confused with what to do, you can lose PERSPECTIVE wondering what's in store for you.

3. It's difficult for you to understand you have a CHOICE. You need to listen deep within your heart to your soul's voice. Decide that you'll relinquish those demands that weigh you down. If you do you'll find your peace will easily rebound!

4. Take these burdens off your shoulders lifting them God. Remember how He’s cared for you along the paths you’ve trod. Jesus coming down to earth aware we would be lost, LIFTED all our cares and placed each one upon His cross.

5. Willingly He died with such great love for you and me, then rose in glory from the grave to truly set us free. So why not MEDITATE and make your life more peaceful, friend. Take hold of Jesus' hand, and walk with Him until the end! "

"Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows... But he was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.”

Flowers Have Intelligence

1. Flowers have INTELLIGENCE, I’d like to try and prove. They express it when each breeze enables them to move. Swaying happily their petal faces seem to smile, with their form of dancing in the breezes for awhile.

2. I believe that they exist to to give us HAPPINESS, while bringing lovely thoughts to mind relieving us of stress. When we plant and nurture them it teaches us to care, and of their unique qualities we soon become aware.

3. Many people fail to realize how difficult, it is for flowers breaking through the ground to venture out. Embedded in the darkened earth without being assured, a better life awaits them to the summit they are lured. When they reach the top and break through into LIGHT of day, to threatening conditions they will soon become a prey.

4. Unlike animals and all the people in the world, they cannot relocate when afflictions are unfurled. PERSEVERANCE overcoming every obstacle, shows unique intelligence I feel is far from dull. You might wonder why they then continue in their plight, facing many problems that can sometimes warrant fright.

5. The answer is intelligence and KNOWLEDGE that their God, is smiling down from heaven at them with a gentle nod. Their beauty warms His loving heart and gives Him peace and joy. He is pleased that all His gifts they happily employ. So do not be surprised that flowers have intelligence, and heartily believe that right from heaven they are sent!

“The dessert and the dry land will rejoice. "The wilderness will blossom like the rose.” Isaiah 35:1

The Safe Arms of Mary

1. Falling asleep in the SAFE arms of Mary my cares and my worries all cease. Though daytime may court various problems and trials Her presence assures their release.

2. We may be fearful at times when uncertainty knocks at the doors of our hearts, but once we're united with Mary it fleas leaving us with the PEACE she imparts. Our Heavenly Mother is only too happy to spend time with us every day. Whenever we're searching to find what is pleasing to God she will show us the way.

3. Family and friends may upset or forsake us at times when we need them the most. But no matter how broken our heart is our Mother is waiting to be our dear HOST.

4. She is calling in silence to love and caress us in beauty and tranquility. Our hurts melt away in her loving EMBRACE and her vision of eternity. There's no problem too great or desire too small that should not be confided to her. When left on our own we are wandering orphans, our life nothing more than a blur.

5. So always remember when nighttime draws near, to image your Mother close by. And then fall asleep in the safe arms of Mary while breathing a CONTENTED sigh.

His Outstretched Arms

1. His outstretched arms upon the cross, assures His death was not a loss. He gained for us a place to be, in HEAVEN with Him eternally.
2. In life we sometimes feel alone, and to despondency are prone, but we need never doubt or fear, for Jesus' LOVE is always near.
3. It should not be a fearful thing, that He died on the cross to bring, SALVATION to the earth below, so now all gifts He can bestow.
4. He chose to do this joyfully, and love us unreservedly. The plan He chose to be fulfilled, enabled GRACE to be instilled.
5. Though sometimes you might feel afraid, just trust the plan that He has made. His arms were outstretched to EMBRACE, in deepest love the human race!
