The Bear Family Vacation

1. During the mid-summertime when sunshine warmed the earth, the Bears decided a vacation would be of great worth. Not only would it be such fun but so relaxing too, and there would be so many things that they could choose to do. After SWIMMING barbecuing hot dogs by the lake, would be delicious followed by a slice of Mama’s cake. 

2. Then a stroll along the tide barefooted in the sand, with sunshine beaming from the sky would certainly be grand! They would rent a quaint and cozy COTTAGE of their choice, and one that they had all agreed would be so very nice. They invited Grandma Bear and Grandpa Bear to come, which always made it twice as nice and ever so much fun! 

3. Since Grandma really loved to cook and Mama loved to bake, their meals would be delightful every time they sat and ate. Whether they fried chicken or would BARBECUE some ribs, the happy memories remained until snug in their beds. The cottages they rented always had such cozy yards, with charming outdoor patios bright flowers and songbirds. 

4. On bright sunshiny days brother and sister loved to rest, in the backyard with their board games or a game of chess. At times when it might drizzle happily they played inside, molding clay or coloring until the yard had dried. Also during their vacation SHOPPING was a must. It was fun to browse followed by Grandpa’s great rib roast!

5. Afterward they all contentedly watched some TV, before a crackling FIRE sipping cocoa or hot tea. The Bear Family’s vacations were relaxing and such fun. They wished that their delight could be enjoyed by everyone! The lovely drive back home was even more exciting still, since they would soon be peeking out over their windowsill!

Embrace Your Twilight Years

1. One of the most enlightening concepts that I have ever embraced, is to cheerfully welcome your twilight years when with them you are faced. Just as we should not dread dusk which precedes every dawn, greet twilight years with HOPE and not an apathetic yawn. 

2. The more that you enrich them with the more you will receive. The recipe is simply just to pray TRUST and believe!  

3. What can be more easy when in search of joy and peace, then seeking God in quiet prayer as your cares you release! Reflecting on His words in scripture bidding us “Be still” truly is a remedy to HEAL your every ill. 

4. He will show you all the joys He has in store for you, and shower you with countless BLESSINGS in all that you do. 

5. The very title “Twilight Years” inspires tranquility, which is a foretaste of your life with God eternally. So cast away your useless cares along with doubts and fears, and then enthusiastically EMBRACE your twilight years!

Find Your Secret Haven

1. Find your secret haven where you can safely flee, amidst all life’s frustrations and in calamity. Each time you feel tension in any shape or form, run quickly to your shelter before the threatening storm. When inside your secret haven no one can intrude, for you will be PROTECTED and with faith and hope imbued. 

2. Seek your place of refuge just as often as need be, ensuring that you will be shielded from each stormy sea. Fleeing to it rapidly at the first sign of strife, will guarantee REFRESHMENT and that it will guard your life. 

3. Your secret haven waits for you with greatest eagerness, desiring to comfort you and spare you from distress. Your place of safety far transcends just empty space you know, awaiting you with lasting life from which all graces flow. Within this sanctuary both your mind and soul are free, to be immersed in love and JOY to the utmost degree. 

4. You need this quiet place of refuge to regain your PEACE, so every burden in your heart will gain complete release. It is not difficult to find your haven of retreat, for it will always beckon you and make your life complete. 

5. I found it many years ago and still up to this day, it is the loveliest abode I seek without delay. I summon you to flee from all that threatens you with fear, then listen as your haven calls and is so very near. Filled with hope and HEALING feel its blessings overflow, as with one wish you enter it down deep within your soul!

Live In the Present Moment

1. Live in the present moment my friend which is yours to fully own, whether you spend it with loved ones or are leisurely resting alone. Do not dwell on your history or future but prevent them from entering your mind, to leave ample room for CONTENTENT and the happiness you wish to find. 

2. Since the future cannot be determined and regrets might accompany the past, when you are immersed in the moment its treasured EXPERIENCE will last. You might on some lovely spring morning a bright yellow daffodil see, appearing to smile in the sunshine and to dance in the soft gentle breeze. 

3. Perhaps you will hear lovely songbirds as their glad messages reach your ear, ever so cheerfully singing proclaiming that summer is near. Remember that past thoughts have led you to your circumstances today, so likewise tomorrow's direction depends on your THINKING today. If there is a sunny spring morning predicted with afternoon rain, enjoy a nice stroll in the sunshine then the rain tapping your windowpane.  

4.When spending some time with your loved ones you should focus on their hearts’ desires. Make wonderful MEMORIES they’ll cherish as lovely as warm hearth-filled fires. You never can really be certain if this your last visit might be, so waste not a word or a moment but cherish them each lovingly. Relinquish all fear which is worthless and avow you will totally trust, that God has a plan for your future and your confidence in Him is a must. 

5. I hope that these words will encourage you in your private pursuit of true joy, that conditions enriched in the PRESENT no force on this earth can destroy. So let not a moment escape you. Let its beauty and knowledge impart, every essence of its hope and glory and its happiness deep in your heart!"

The Country Mouse's Cozy House

1. Every dawn the country mouse straightened up her cozy house because when things were in their place it seemed there was so much more space. Following a bit of rest she soon prepared a hot BREAKFAST like her delicious walnut cake she found enjoyable to bake. 

2. Right from the oven nice and brown it turned a frown right upside down inviting her to start her CHORES like dusting rooms or sweeping floors. Never needing to be asked she truly loved her daily tasks. 

3. The little village in the woods with picturesquely tended YARDS and flowers bursting into bloom announced summer was coming soon. When summer finally arrived outdoor meals and gardens thrived, then in the autumn vivid leaves all gently floated from the trees. Winter was a heavenly sight snowflakes by day firelight by night. 

4. The mice all safely snug at home did not have any need to roam while NEIGHBORS were the best by far with no desire for bike or car. They walked wherever they would go in sunshine wind raindrops or snow. 

5. The village had a peaceful pond of which the mice had grown quite fond remaining thankful it was near providing beauty rest and cheer. So in the most CONTENTED way the little mice went on their way performing chores and having fun enjoying life from sun to sun!

Alone

1. At times it’s nice to spend a little quiet time alone, locking doors and dimming lights then turning off the phone. In the peaceful atmosphere it's easy to enjoy, thoughts of ATTRIBUTES that you desire to employ. 

2. It is difficult to concentrate on every goal, when you never have the time to search within your soul. Time alone brings HEALING while enriching every sense. The list of things that it enhances truly is immense. 

3. Spending time alone ideally should be every day. It's your chance to WONDER to be grateful and to pray. You will find that if you do not spend this time alone, work can overwhelm you and to doubt you may be prone. 

4. If you're very busy that's the time you need it most. God Himself will be your guest and your devoted host. Spend a little time with your Creator and you'll see, He will give you PEACE in life and for eternity! 

5. Tell Him all your troubles and then ask for a reward. He will give you all good gifts for He's your Mighty Lord! When you notice other people running busily, fly to be alone with God and He will set you FREE!
