A Cozy Quiet Evening

1. A cozy quiet evening tucked away inside my HOME, cuddled in my easy chair without the need to roam. The crackling fire in the hearth releases a warm glow, creating tranquil feelings that begin to overflow. 

2. Gazing out the frosted window at the evening light, twinkling STARS add gentle beauty to the peaceful night. The world outside is silent as all nature seems at rest. My home is like a baby bird tucked in its cozy nest. 

3. Troubles appear miniscule and worries fade away. I feel the wonder in God’s promise of a brand-new day. The room becomes more darkened as the FIRELIGHT grows dim, but another brighter spiritual fire grows deep within. It beckons me immerse myself inside its warm embrace, where I might access easily God’s kind and loving face. 

4. Truly it is here that doubts and fears all dissipate, where we can truly comprehend our great and glorious fate. Bathing in this realization I become aware, that the CREATOR of the Universe dwells humbly there! 

5. These reflections comfort me with great humility, as I am overcome with awe to the utmost degree. My thoughts returning to my cozy room and firelight, I soon retire blanketed beneath the pale MOONLIGHT.

Just the Aroma

1. Just the aroma of things that we love can uplift us and fill us with cheer, whether it’s coffee dessert or a meal or anything that we might hold dear. HOT DOGS at baseball games topped with some mustard can put a big smile on our lips. Meatball hors d'oeuvres are enticing with vegetables circling delectable dips. Imagine the smell of fresh popcorn when entering a theater or in your own home, and how it creates wholesome thoughts when you purchase it or if you prepare your own.

2. Different aromas are directly related to feelings we wish to arouse. Sweet shops revive youthful memories and happiness while the tastiest CANDY we browse. It’s fun and exciting deciding which feeling you’d like resurrecting within, then choosing a specific aroma that you know will trigger some cheer and a grin. 

3. For me in the morning it’s freshly perked COFFEE then evening a small glass of wine. Each time I anticipate my favorite things just the thought of them makes me feel fine. Fragrant perfume or cologne will create pleasant atmospheres romantic in style. We all need some time pausing from our activities in order to rest for a while. Summertime barbecues fill parks and neighborhoods with a delectable scent! Everything social relaxing and wholesome they unquestioningly represent. 

4. One of my favorites is sizzling BACON and eggs in the morning at dawn. The fact it awakens a homey sensation is one I can rely upon. The fragrance of flowers and scents of the ocean seem magically to set spirits free, just as soft snowflakes in wintertime do then in springtime each blossoming tree. 

5. I’m beginning to think that the list has no end of aromas with which we are blest. So I will conclude with the one that we all might agree could be one of the best. The aroma of fresh roasted TURKEY reminds us of who we are most grateful to. Without our Creator the gifts we possess in our lifetime would surely be few. So thank you Dear Lord for this beautiful world you created for us to enjoy, and for every gift you have chosen to share that for others we vow to employ!

My Cozy Little Kitchen

1. I love my cozy kitchen in my home away from home. To find peace and contentment I need never have to roam. Gazing through the arched window the pink HIBISCUS tree, in the sunshine gently waves its leafy arms at me. 

2. Sipping on my coffee nibbling cinnamon raisin toast, I reflect how simple things in life I love the most. The BIRDS are singing playfully and skipping to and fro, while I am feeling blest there's nowhere that I have to go. 

3. The grass is green. The sun is shining.  What a splendid day! I vow that I'll enjoy it in a very special way. The SUNSHINE growing brighter seems an invitation to, join it for a stroll which I most certainly will do! 

4. There is a lovely POND just down the street around the bend, where every care and worry very quickly seems to mend. The squirrels ducks and turtles dwell there happily each day, as they swim and nibble in the most delightful way! 

5. Later I might plan a little PICNIC by the lake, with hotdogs chips strawberries and delicious chocolate cake! Underneath the starlit sky tonight I'll rest and pray, feeling ever grateful for this heavenly perfect day!

The Timeline of Life

1. Everyone has their own timeline of life while traveling from day to day. As we move forward each day of our lives there is no turning back on our way. Whenever encountering troubles or fears though frightening as they might be, we merely pass through them with end close in sight as with SPIRITUAL eyes we can see. 

2. Much like when taking a leisurely drive every house and each tree we pass by, moves towards us while giving such PLEASURE and joy then is gone in the blink of an eye. 

3. So too with our problems though sometimes they may seem to linger and crowd us with pain, we simply are passing through hovering clouds though the SUNSHINE will burst forth again. I often reflect and I wonder how far I may be on my timeline of life, while picturing that I have steadily passed through such happiness pleasure and strife. 

4. I’m curious to see how much there remains to this challenging ADVENTUROUS road, when earth’s finally past and it’s time to enjoy new life in my heavenly abode. 

5. It is thrilling to think earth is only a hint of the wonders that exist above, where all will be ECSTASY, eternal bliss and a totally undying love. So each time that pain begins crowding your life and your joys start to seem very few, just think of your timeline take hold of God’s hand and remember you’re just passing through!

Right around the Corner

1. Right around the corner there is beauty in the air. If you pause a moment you’ll be sure to find it there. Continuing your journey HOPE and love will find a way of surfacing in times of joy and even in dismay. 

2. Whenever you approach a turn in life and must slow down, engage it with a loving smile and not a doleful frown. Just around the corner there might be a new SURPRISE, that you will only notice if you open up your eyes. 

3. When you feel forsaken and have lost your faith in God, think of blessings He has strewn along the paths you’ve trod. Ponder how He’s cared for you and loves you oh so much. That will be sufficient proof to fill your soul with TRUST.

4. Life has many twists and turns that sometimes frighten us, and very often we begin to weaken tire or fuss. When we image that beyond each bend awaits a chance, to BEAUTIFY this world our lives we greatly will enhance. 

5. Try to have expectant FAITH when you encounter fear, for it’s the surest and the simplest way to draw God near. if you believe He’ll cause for you all good things to transpire, then right around the corner you will find your heart’s desire!

The Country Mouse's Cozy Town

1. The country mouse’s house was nestled by an old elm tree, amidst lush trees and lovely flowers as far as eye could see. There even was a small LAKE with its waters of pure blue, where fish could easily be seen beneath crystalline hue. 

2. The mice all loved to PICNIC there throughout the summer days, and worked to beautify the lake in such delightful ways. The little mice so loved their village with its scenic views, with yards homey and houses cozy tinted lovely hues. 

3. In spring they planted gardens and in summer loved to swim. In autumn they had HAYRIDES then in winter cozied in. That is when within their cuddly homes their fires burned bright, where they rested sipping cocoa by the fire light. As the crackling flames curled gently spirits lifted high, while every mouse all snuggled up breathed a contented sigh. 

4. Occasionally they all enjoyed a social or SLEIGH ride, which livened up the village where the mice loved to abide. It truly was a peaceful life that they all shared as one, from morning when the sun rose until night when work was done. 

5. And so my friend with thoughts life is becoming too fast paced, when you recall the country mouse these thoughts will be erased. You too can live a life of peace, CONTENTMENT and of cheer, if you embrace the country mouse and hold her image near!
