You Only Have One Life To Live!

.
1. You only have one life to live,
so do not WASTE your time
with useless situations
that will make you feel confined.

2. Why listen to others
when you're trying to choose your fate.
You might loose your chances to SUCCEED
if you should wait.

3. You could encounter others
who might harbor jealousy.
Act upon your INSTINCTS

and let their opinions flee.

4. Surround yourself
with good FRIENDS
and enjoy their company.
For happiness in life,
this is your only guarantee.

5. Make sure each and every day
you spend some time in PRAYER.
Ask God for His perfect will
and know that He is there!

"Your will be done on earth
as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

Did You Ever Imagine How Heaven Will Be?

1. Did you ever imagine how HEAVEN will be;
what color the sky, the land or the sea?
I think that the sky just might be of gold
with flowers too beautiful to behold.

2. I picture the TREES with soft leaves of pink
near waters of crystal from which we can drink,
and then in my mind I see drops of dew
of sparkling diamond and silver too.

3. The ANIMALS, able to smile now and talk,
though some wild on earth, with us safely will walk.
I think we might also be able to fly
above flowers and trees as we soar through the sky.

4. Jesus said there will be MANSIONS, you see,
unimaginable in sight, one for you and for me.
I see gardens and pools of pure water so bright,
With days that are endless and no signs of night.

5. I'm sure God will reach out to us, smile, and say,
"I am the SUNSHINE that lights up each day."
And as He so gently takes hold of our hand
He'll lovingly lead us through his heavenly land!

"The city does not need the sun or the moon
to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light,
and the Lamb is its lamp." Revelation 21:23

Only a Dream Away

1. Imagine the visions to which you aspire
are only a dream away.
It is plausible that they are just out of your reach,
so never let HOPE go astray.

2. It's been said, that if you can DREAM something
you can attain it, so always have faith.
It will come to fruition if you keep pursuing it,
and have the PATIENCE to wait.

3. No matter what problems are weighing us down,
God has promised He will set us free.
There is only one thing we’re required to offer,
and that is our TRUST, willingly.
Our God is a God of great miracles, wanting to see
that our dreams all come true.
He only desires that we praise Him with love
while serving Him in all we do.

4. With expectant FAITH, lift your heart up to Him
and surrender your life to His care.
His promise is comforting, healing, eternal,
and ensures that He’ll always be there.

5. Whenever you’re weary and life becomes dreary,
no matter how hopeless it seems,
before you God stands, as He holds in His hands,
the fruition of all of your DREAMS!

Miracles

1. Did you ever take time, to really reflect
just how mighty our God is in heaven,
or read in the bible His great miracles
and all of the HEALINGS He's given.

2. His unfathomable MERCY and unsurpassed love
both border on sheer disbelief!
Some who have suffered insurmountable problems
have even found instant relief!

3. Miracles prove the great power of His LOVE
that He has for all creatures on earth,
and demonstrate fully that we were created
in His eyes to be of great worth.

4. I love meditating on all the great MIRACLES
that He has performed long ago,
but the one that I totally marvel at
is how God thwarted the army of Pharaoh.

5. I never will doubt the incredible love
God has shown both for you and for me,
when He demonstrated His omnipotent POWER
In parting the mighty Red Sea!

"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea
and all that night the Lord drove the sea back
with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land.
The waters were divided, and the Israelites
went through the sea on dry ground, with a
wall of water on their right and on their left."

Thank God For the Little Things!

1. Thank God for the little things,

the butterfly, the bird that sings.
Gentle rain on lovely flowers.
Peaceful nights and happy hours.
For the gift of FOOD we eat,
and the sun's reviving heat.

2. Flickering candles lit at dusk.

HOME'S safe harbor, family's trust.
Cozy evenings by the fire,
warming every heart's desire.
Love's eternal healing power.
Endless gifts God loves to shower.

3. FRIENDS who comfort, love, and guide,

while new strength for us provide.
Reflecting on these gifts above,
we find we owe God all our love.

4. He is always there to HEAL,

though His face He may conceal.
If we look much closer still,
we can learn His perfect will.

5. Thank God for His future plans

He will create with His own hands.
Praise Him we've become aware
that all we ask He'll grant through PRAYER!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Philippians 4:6

You Are One of the Lucky Ones!

1. Are you feeling overworked
at others’ beck and call,
to the point it seems
you have no energy at all?
Are you robbed of precious time,
depleted of all zest?
Through your veil of pity
take a look at how you’re BLEST!

2. Are you getting quite impatient
for some extra time,
in order to complete your work
and once again feel fine?
Has responsibility to others
weighed you down?
Does it seem there is
no other helping hand around?
I’d like to pause a moment
to relate your life’s great worth,
for you are one of the most
FORTUNATE upon this earth!

3. When you count your BLESSINGS
is the list both short and few?
Does your day seem cloudy
even when the skies are blue?
Do you wish the world would stop
and somehow fade away,
then reappear with less
responsibility one day?

4. There are others who would
TRADE with you without a thought,
who, from dealing with much more,
are lonely and distraught.
Some confined by poverty
or health would give their life
to focus on the welfare of
their neighbors’ earthly strife.

5. If you spend a lot of time
on others’ care and need,
I think by now you’ll see
you are most fortunate indeed.
Thank God  for each precious
opportunity to share,
offering Him your GRATITUDE
in every heartfelt prayer.
Say, “I’d rather have one moment
lending someone help,
than a lifetime of enjoyment
focused on myself!”
Be grateful for each selfless act
that you've performed since birth,
For those who care for others
are the luckiest on earth!
