The Whole World Over

1. The whole world over is enfolded, 

in God’s loving CARE.

If you look with eyes of faith, 

you’ll see He’s always there.

2. The rivers whisper how 

He cleanses us from stain of sin,

while mighty mountains demonstrate

His STRENGTH we have within.

3. Sparkling stars up in the sky

remind us of His care.

Beaming sunshine tells us;

of His LOVE to be aware.

4. Lovely flowers speak of 

His artistic gentleness,

As they try to cheerfully 

relieve us from all stress.

In every falling raindrop 

see the grace God showers down.

And in the silence, 

PEACE that He instills without a sound.

5. Earth’s great NOURISHMENT 

displays how richly we are blessed,

While every gentle breeze 

should help us feel His warm caress.

If you meditate, my friend, 

you will become aware

The whole world over is enfolded
in God's loving care!

how they grow.  They neither 
toil nor spin, yet I tell you that 

even Solomon in all his splendor
was not arrayed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass 
of the field, which is alive today

Life Goes By So Quickly

1. Life goes by so quickly,
and then comes lasting PEACE.
Death comes as a sweetness
to allow our soul's release.

2. At that moment brilliant lights
will certainly affirm
the unsurpassed Creative LOVE
awaiting our return.
Our origin was in the mind
and heart of God most high.
His fire burned and we were born
in His contented sigh.

3. Why be fearful or dismayed
before His awesome power,
when He sustains us with His love
and HEALING every hour.
He leads us every moment
through the perils of this land.
Our troubles flee in fear
by just the waving of His hand.

4. He tries to COMFORT us 
bring some joy to every trial,
assuring us they will flee
in just a little while.
When we have lost a loved one
how can we accept and cope?
Try to look through God's eyes
and you'll see a wider scope.

5. Each one of us is passing 
through the hourglass of time,
and in the end our deepest hopes 
and dreams will work out fine.

The day when our Eternal Father 

banishes all night, 

forever we'll be bathed within 

His Everlasting LIGHT!

Your Perfect Will

1. Dear Lord, above all else in life

I seek your perfect will,

ENCOURAGED by your Holy Word

to know you and be still.

2. Reaching down from heaven

with your love and warm embrace,

you make me so aware you wish

to see me face to face.

While so many others fear

your presence on this earth,

you have infused your message

that my life is of great WORTH.

3. You are not impressed by

great accomplishments or goals,

but focus on humility 

and VIRTUE in our souls.

4. You chastise us when proud,

but when we’re humble lift us high,

with BLESSINGS that outnumber

all the stars up in the sky.

5. Your will, like purest gold, 

can simply never be surpassed,

so we should ponder carefully

the things for which we ask.

Fill us with your love and grace

so that we may fulfill

the highest HONOR on this earth,

Your holy perfect will!

Angels All Around Us

1. Angels all around us
bend on hovering wing,
as they WORSHIP God most high, 
and their voices ring.
Captivating rapture, 
hypnotizing love,
permeate the world below, 
from God's throne above.
Great celestial voices, 
beckoning us come,
to worship God the Father, 
God the Spirit, God the Son.

2. Radiant as the sunrise, 
peaceful as the moon,
conveying to the universe 
that Christ is coming soon.
Visiting the poor in spirit, 
bringing heavenly light,
HEALING our infirmities 
and brightening up the night.
Angels in the heavens, 
angels on the earth,
bearing God's sweet message, 
giving us rebirth.

4. Eyes on fire with God's love, 
arms outstretched to give
all His healing, grace, and care, 
as long as we may live.
Angels all around us, 
filling us with love,
for all who dwell upon the earth, 
and those in heaven above.
Angels REACHING toward us, 
and toward heaven too,
trying to embrace us, 
in everything we do.

5. See the angels SMILING, 
as in rapture sweet,
they spread their holy fragrance, 
to everyone they meet.
Feel the angels' presence, 
in everything you do,
for they will bring contentment, 
and all God's grace to you.
Angels all around us, 
filling us with peace,
acquiring all our hearts' desires, 
and our souls' release!

Getting Older Is a Blessing

1. Getting older is a blessing;

I hope you will agree,

for many things get easier

I think that you will see.

When you are young you worry

if you're handsome or you're fit.

When older though you so enjoy

to just RELAX and sit.

It gives you time to meditate

on what life truly means.

You now enjoy the once sought hope

and joy of all your dreams.

2. The little things in life

seem more important now it's true,

and you can relish each and every

one you choose to do.

When younger we so often

let them fly by easily,

in search of things so lofty,

that we never feel free.

In youth we fear that getting old

will bring unwanted pain,

but counting daily BLESSINGS

makes us youthful once again.

3. People may complain that now

they cannot walk as fast,

but there are some advantages

in reaching places last.

For one thing you don't have to fight

the crowds in front of you.

And second, slowing down

helps you to have a brighter view.

It gives you time to smell the roses

slowly as you pass,

APPRECIATING underfoot

the feel of soft warm grass.

4. Your health will get much better,

with your blood pressure down low,

so you can smile SERENELY

everywhere that you may go.

Our eyesight might diminish,

but there's some good in that too,

for we'll look younger to ourselves,

and in each other's view.

We may not feel we have as much

productive time today,

but this will give us time

to brighten someone else's day.

5. Even just a phone call or a smile

can bring such HOPE

to other people finding it

so difficult to cope.

Sending lovely cards and notes

bring beauty to a friend

who might be very lonely

and on others must depend.

But don't forget to spend time

on yourself too every day

to brighten up your life and make

the sun shine on your way.

For getting older is a blessing

if you truly show

the world that life's worth living,

whether you are young of old!
