Mama Bear’s Tea Party

1. As Mama Bear was RESTING in 
her easy chair one night,

she developed an idea 
which brought such delight.

Papa Bear, relaxing, 
after taking off his shoes,

was sitting by the television 
listening to the news.

2. Brother Bear was playing
with his model cars and planes,

while sister combed her dolly’s hair, 
then tied it into braids.

It had been a lovely day, 
the weather warm and bright,

and the perfect prelude 
to a calm RELAXING night.

3. Mama thought that she would have 
a tea PARTY next week

for her very closest friends, 
as a special treat.

Some snowball cookies she would bake
and layered petit fours,

along with frosted brownies, 
and some small drizzled cheese squares.

Lastly, homemade nut roll, 
which her friends all loved so much,

served upon her two tier platter 
was the perfect touch.

4. The following days passed pleasantly, 
as Mama shopped and baked.

Her friends were thrilled to be invited, 
and just could not wait!

Finally when the day arrived, 
and Mama poured their tea,

the PASTRIES were so beautifully 
arranged, for all to see!

5. It was a lovely afternoon, 
and all enjoyed their stay

right up until the moment that 
they each went on their way.

Deep in Mama’s heart 
these MEMORIES were ever stored,

but the joy she brought her friends, 
was her greatest reward!

The Radiation of God’s Love

1. The RADIATION chamber, 

that heals my soul and mind,

has given me much insight, 

into things I once was blind.

When I enter into it, 

I leave the world behind,

and in solitude such peace 

and harmony I find.

2. The Eucharistic chapel 

of Our Lord is set apart,

for us to bring all those that we 

hold dear within our heart.

As we sit in silence, 

in His presence we release,

our cares and all our worries, 

as He fills us with His PEACE

3. He bids us to let go of pressures, 

as they melt away,

promising through prayer His LOVE 

and grace will always stay.

One by one I watch each burden

quickly disappear,

with all my doubts, unwanted cares, 

and every useless fear.

This world becomes a beautiful 

and wondrous work of art,

that the Lord created 

for our pleasure, from the start.

4. He spread the grass beneath our feet 

to soften every step,

and cooled us with His raindrops, 

crystal streams, and ocean depth.

A greater masterpiece is when 

He scattered up so high,

the countless stars that LIGHT our way

by sparkling in the sky.

5. Just think how much more brilliant

His divine presence must be,

in the quiet chapel as 

He waits for you and me.

When I go to meet Him 

I embrace the image of

a sacred radiation chamber, 

of God’s HEALING love!

“Lord my God, I called to you 

for help, and you healed me.” 

Psalm 30:2

My Life Is Perfect

1. I feel my life is perfect, 

exactly as it is,

despite the circumstances, 

or what any person says.

Everything is for a reason, 

I firmly believe.

FAITH removes the limit to

how much we can receive.

2. Praise God for infirmity. 

Praise him for defeat.

A crown of GLORY waits for you 

beside God's judgment seat!

3. We should realize 

that every hindrance is a sign

that will increase our STRENGTH 

each time we follow God’s design.

Marshmallows are sweet, 

although deflated easily,

but bitter grapefruit healthier, 

I think you will agree.

4. When faced with difficulties, 

it is easy to resist.

If we SURRENDER them to God, 

He truly will assist.

He really knows what’s best for us, 

no matter how we feel,

and during times we seem abandoned, 

God’s presence is real.

5. No matter whether things go right, 

or wrong for you my friend,

TRUST in God and in your need, 

to you He’ll condescend.

Whenever things are troublesome, 

and seem to go amiss,

Just say, “My life is perfect, 

exactly as it is!”

Mama Loves her Home!

1. Mama loved her home the best.  

Just being there made her feel blest.

Every time she walked inside, 

she felt a calming peace abide.

God had blessed her COZY home 

with no desire or need to roam.

All the things that brought her pride, 

were safely tucked away inside.

2. Her children’s laughter and husband’s smile 

created a RELAXED lifestyle.

When the sun came up at dawn, 

and then retired with sleepy yawn,

their house was such a splendid sight, 

in pale beams of filtered light.

3. Lush FLOWERS, each without a word, 

attracted every hummingbird.

Joyfully at break of day 

were songbirds cheerfully at play.

When straightening the bed was done, 

Mama put her bathrobe on.

After saying morning prayers, 

she quietly stole down the stairs.

4. Preparing first the COFFEE pot, 

she perked it until piping hot.

Slicing some fresh coffee cake, 

so comfortably she sat and ate.

Thoughts of chores she loved to do, 

quickly warmed her through and through.

5. At the start of each new day, 

her heart was blest in every way.

Considering her every gift, 

she felt her mind and spirits lift.

So Mama vowed right then and there, 

throughout her life to LOVE and share,

and afterward began each day, 

in this delightful peaceful way!
